: Hi guys, just wanted to tell you what happened to my friend over the weekend cause i still can't believe it. Hy friend who wasn't a member of this forum but owned a 2+2 91 Z passed away over the weekend.He was in santa cruz traveling on a 2 lane road following his friend, the car he was following decided to pass a car in his lane by going into the other lane facing oncoming traffic.Unfortunately that car made it and my friend did not, he ran head on into a semi truck. His name was David Tran and he was only 19 years old. Valedictorian at my school and all around outstanding guy. The first time I EVER experienced driving a z was when he was nice enough to let me drive his car(eventhough i stalled like a million times).he had his whole life ahead of him and was a great guy.
: I am still relatively young(18) and am not sure that i am handling his death ok.I still can't believe it.I had done the same exact manuver he did a few months back and wrecked my car also, but for some reason i was spared and he wasn't. Some of you might remember because I asked this forum if i should tell my mom or fix it before she came back from vacation.
: Just wanted to remind you guys to drive safe out there because i know you guys like to do naughty things in your Z's sometimes.Unfortunately my friend paid with his life because of a sudden lapse in judgement.Please pray for him and his family. His name was David Tran, one of the most genuine,kind, honest people that i have ever met.
